How Live Betting Works
Live betting or in-play betting lets you place bets while a match is in progress. Odds change in real time based on what is happening on the pitch — a goal, a red card or a clear chance will move the market within seconds. Markets may be briefly suspended after a major event before reopening.
Popular Live Markets
Live Asian Handicap
Teams are given a goal advantage or deficit to level the contest. Useful when there is a notable difference in strength between the two sides.
Half-Time Over/Under
Bet on the total number of goals in the first half only. More focused than a full-time over/under.
Next Team to Score
Choose which team will score the next goal. Odds move quickly in line with the current momentum of the match.
Total Corner Kicks
Bet on the number of corners taken within a set period — popular for matches with a lot of pressure around the penalty area.
Badminton: Set Winner and Total Points
For badminton fans, pick who wins a specific set or bet on the total number of points in a set.
What Is Cash Out?
Cash Out lets you settle a bet early at a value calculated based on the current live odds — before the final result. You can choose a full Cash Out (close the entire bet) or a partial Cash Out (close part of it and let the remainder run). This feature is available on many markets at lb9.

Betting and Casino Glossary for Malaysian Players
Understanding basic terms helps you make better decisions. Here are brief explanations for terms you will commonly come across.
Asian Handicap
A football betting method that gives a goal advantage or disadvantage to a team to level the odds. It eliminates the possibility of a draw in many cases.
Over/Under (Totals)
You bet on whether the total number of goals (or points) in a match will be more or less than the value set by the platform.
Odds Format
Odds can be displayed in decimal (1.85), fractional (17/20) or American (-120) format. Decimal format is most commonly used in Southeast Asia.
RTP (Return to Player)
A long-term percentage representing the average return to players from the total amount wagered — it is a statistical figure, not a guarantee of winnings.
House Edge
The mathematical advantage held by the casino operator in every game. This ensures the operator remains profitable over the long term.
Wagering Requirement
The amount you need to wager before winnings from a bonus can be withdrawn. For example, a RM100 bonus with 15x means you need to wager RM1,500.
Live Dealer Casino
Casino games broadcast live with real human dealers. You play in real time via a high-quality video stream.
Slot Volatility
Measures the frequency and size of wins. High volatility means wins are rare but larger; low volatility means wins are more frequent but smaller.
Progressive Jackpot
A jackpot prize that keeps growing each time a player bets until someone wins it. It then starts accumulating again from a starting value.
Cashback
A return of a portion of your net losses over a given period. At lb9, weekly VIP cashback is calculated according to your membership tier.
Mix Parlay
A combination of several betting selections on one ticket. All selections must be correct to win, but the multiplied odds offer a higher potential return.
Live Betting (In-Play)
Betting while a match is in progress. Odds are updated in real time according to the latest developments in the match.
